As you know I have started a series of using Common Things for Uncommon Purposes. I already wrote one post of this series before and many people liked it. This is the second post of this series. I hope you will like this too.
I am using baby wipes ever since my kids were babies. They are grown up now but baby wipes are indispensable item in my shopping list.
Besides its obvious use of cleaning baby’s bottom & face, they are my best buddy in emergency. They are very convenient & make life a lot easier with their nontraditional uses.
Art Lover’s Best Friend
If you love scrapbooking or painting then they are terrific in cleaning paint, or glue from your fingers. Your rubber stamp will be like new if you clean it with baby wipes. If your tiny tots are discovering their creative talents, you can wipe glue, colors or clay from their hands.
Ideal travel companions
Don’t forget to keep a box of baby wipe in travel. Use them to clean sudden spill at your leather seats. They are great for wiping up your dirty & greasy hands if you’ve to mess with the car or change a tire. Freshen up baby’s face & hands as well as your own in a tiring journey or after eating something.
Remove stray hairs from pets
If you are fed up with your pet’s hair spreading all over your carpet & furniture, make it a daily routine to wash him with baby wipe. It’ll make him smell fresh & nice & your home free of pet hairs.
Stain remover
If you have accidentally spilled anything on your cloth or carpet, don't panic. Just take some wipes & dab the stain until it cleans.
Shine Your Shoe
Are you run out of shoe polish? Don’t worry. Wipe your leather shoe with baby wipe & they’ll sparkle.
Sooth Sun Burn
Take it with you when you go for sun bathing. Sun burn can get temporarily cool by patting with baby wipe.
Shine Your Bathroom
If guests are coming & you don’t have enough time to thoroughly clean your home, don’t panic. Take baby wipe & clean your bathroom surfaces & with a dry cloth shine them in a jiffy.
Clean your keyboard
Clean your keyboard's dirt, dried spill & debris with baby wipes, but remember to switch off before.
Clear Your Car
Are you stuck in a traffic jam or waiting in the car at the petrol station? Grab a baby wipe, make a quick run over leather car upholstery, dashboard & steering wheel. Now you have a clean car interior.
